Paul Haaland is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) with over 25 years of experience in nonprofit organizations, with expertise in operations, events, and communications. He is a highly organized and collaborative professional who has supported Boards of Directors, senior leaders, and volunteer committees, providing leadership to help advance their organizational missions efficiently and effectively.

Prior to joining PMR, Paul was the Director of Conferences at the American Jail Association (AJA), where he successfully managed annual conferences, summits, event planning committee meetings, and board meetings. He also served as Vice President of Operations at the Envelope Manufacturers Association (EMA) and Executive Director for the EMA Foundation. Previously Paul served as the Chief Operating Officer for the National Association of Affordable Housing Lenders (NAAHL), leading the association during a hiatus between chief executives, for which he received special recognition by the NAAHL board. The board also gave him a leadership award for the management of NAAHL’s policy summits. He was NAAHL’s Director of Communications as well.
